Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Pickleball King (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old. If you’re between 13 and the age of majority in your country, you confirm a parent or guardian agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

• You’re responsible for your login credentials.
• You may only create one account per person.
• Pick a username, display name, and avatar that don’t infringe other people’s rights.
• Don’t share, sell, or transfer your account.

The Service relies on real pickleball matches played at real locations. You are responsible for your own safety, the safety of your opponents, and following the rules of any court, club, or training facility you visit. We are not responsible for injuries, property damage, or disputes that occur during real-world play.

The integrity of the status game depends on honest reporting. You agree to:

• Only log matches you actually played.
• Verify opponents’ submitted scores promptly and honestly.
• Not collude to inflate stats or court influence.
• Not impersonate other players.

We may reverse fraudulent matches, void influence gained from them, remove badges, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that violate this section.

You agree not to upload or post content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, or that violates someone else’s privacy or intellectual property.

Guild names, descriptions, court submissions, and any photos or assets you upload must follow these rules. We may remove content or accounts at our discretion.

When you add a court via the Service, you confirm it is a real, publicly playable (or appropriately permissioned) location and the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge. New courts appear unverified until reviewed.

Challenges, battles, victory frames, and result recaps are designed to be shared publicly. By participating in a challenge or logging a match, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display your username, display name, guild affiliation, scores, and stats on public battle pages and auto-generated shareable images.

You may belong to one guild at a time. Captains and officers are community moderators for their own guild; they can invite, remove, and promote members. We may step in if there’s a clear violation of these Terms or community guidelines.

You can delete your account any time by emailing hello@kingofthekitchen.app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm the community.

The Service is provided “as is.” We don’t guarantee continuous uptime, perfectly accurate stats, or any specific competitive outcome.

To the extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any direct damages is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (which, during the free pilot, is zero).

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the new Terms.
